Description
Appearance
The Egg Breaker is a mech with an open cockpit that Dr. Eggman sits in. Information technology somewhat resembles the Egg Emperor from Sonic Heroes, except it bears a cherry and blue pigment scheme instead of aureate, and its right hand is a giant spiked brawl that it can throw, which is used to endeavour to crush Shadow and create shock-waves. On average information technology takes 23 shots from a normal gun to defeat.
Powers and abilities
The Egg Breaker can leap to create a shock-waves. It can spin around with its spike brawl and throw it, with burn down balls circling around it. It can speedily generate new spike balls easily. The Egg Breaker can also burn down lasers, especially with its eyes, and has the ability to leap considerable distances. It can fire a horizontal array of bombs also.
Dominate guide
Cryptic Castle
Egg Breaker appears as a boss subsequently the Ambiguous Castle stage after any mission is completed. Amy Rose is the player'south partner. The battle takes identify on a circular platform. There is a trail of rings around the platform and ghosts sit down at the very edge. During this boxing, Eggman will attempt to smash the player shouting "Lights out!" as his main attack. If the player gets also far away from him, he will burn down his spiked brawl at them. The Egg Breaker's 3rd attack is the deadliest. It will spin around and around as information technology swings its spiked ball, making it invulnerable to all attacks.
Mad Matrix
Egg Breaker also appears equally a dominate after the Mad Matrix stage after any mission is completed. Espio the Chameleon is the player's partner. The battle takes place inside a cylinder shaped room with a trail of Rings going around it. In that location are floating cubes above that take Egg Pawns and jars of Rings on them. The only way to get up in that location is by using an ascending bar of low-cal. Eggman attacks similar to the way he did at Cryptic Castle. Simply this fourth dimension he'll spin and transport out bombs with his face on them while shouting "Yous know what they say, the more the merrier!". This fight is likewise harder considering of the Egg Pawns helping the Egg Breaker beingness armed with Egg Bazookas, ensuring Shadow takes damage from being defenseless in the explosions of the rockets.
Iron Jungle
Egg Breaker makes its final appearance as a dominate later on the Iron Jungle stage after any mission is completed. Due east-123 Omega is the histrion's partner. The battle takes place inside Eggman'due south base; another round room. At that place is a platform in the eye. Most the outside of the circle, there are 2 turrets and two rockets. This Egg Breaker battle is vastly unlike from the previous two. Eggman doesn't engage in hand-to-hand gainsay with the thespian as he did before. Instead, he sits on the center platform and fires lasers from the Egg Billow's eyes. The easiest mode to defeat it is by using the turrets. Withal, the Egg Billow'due south lasers volition eventually destroy the turrets, leaving only the machine guns backside. Another method of assault is using the rockets to become to the Egg Breaker'due south level. After it gets down to one-half HP, the Egg Billow will jump off the platform. It will all the same burn lasers rather than attacking directly, unless the actor gets as well close. Despite all of this, information technology is considered to be the easiest of the Egg Breaker battles because of the absences of the shut range attacks it uses with its spiked ball.

IDW Publishing
In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing, the Egg Breaker forms a office of Dr. Eggman's Badnik ground forces. Unlike its game counterpart, this incarnation of the Egg Breaker serves as an independentSuper Badnik, and not a mech vehicle. Like in Cryptic Castle, this Egg Breaker model is also equipped with a mace for an arm.
Trivia
- This boss, along with the Blackness Bull, are the merely bosses in Shadow the Hedgehog that can be fought twice in a single playthrough of the main storyline.
- In the case of the Egg Breaker though, the Mad Matrix and Iron Jungle versions can exist encountered (with the role player required to complete the Nighttime mission of Mad Matrix to proceed to Atomic number 26 Jungle) and the Cryptic Castle and Iron Jungle versions (with the player required to complete the Hero mission of Ambiguous Castle and the normal mission of Sky Troops to reach Atomic number 26 Jungle).
- The Mad Matrix version of this dominate fight is considered to exist the most hard of the Egg Breaker's boss battles because the nearly useful weapons are kept up on top of the blocks and the Egg Pawns armed with Egg Bazookas tin repeatedly injure Shadow while he's recovering rings considering of the splash damage from their rockets combined with the Egg Breaker'due south bombs.
- This boss (specifically the version fought in Mad Matrix) is known for carrying Eggman's infamous one-liner, "Yous know what they say, the more the merrier!", which he says every time he uses the bomb set on. Many players have constitute this quote very annoying due to Eggman'southward repetitive usage of it. This makes the Egg Breaker one of six of Eggman's machines to have an infamous quote tied to it. The others are the Egg Viper and Egg Walker from Sonic Take a chance ("Get a load of this!") the Egg Emperor from Sonic Heroes ("Accept this!"), the Egg Devil Ray from Sonic Unleashed (Wii/PlayStation 2 version only) ("You little!") and the Egg Dragoon from Sonic Generations ("Time for a change of pace!").
- Despite the fact that destroying Egg Pawns in this dominate fills the Hero Gauge, Amy and Espio will oft tell Shadow to stop attacking them. Omega is the only marry to this boss that encourages Shadow to destroy them.
- This is fifty-fifty stranger is Espio's case, equally his reasons for sparring Egg Pawns come from fear of existence detected by Eggman, despite the fact that Eggman has already discovered them and is fighting them at this point. Although this is most likly just an oversight by the creators.
- The faces on the bombs highly resemble the Egg Monitor's face up.
